About Sweet Tea and Cornbread NC
Now carrying Deweyβs Cookies and Sugar Cakes Featuring North Carolina Made Products
Located at 4325 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612, Sweet Tea and Cornbread NC operates as an other place serving Raleigh in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Places that do not fit a cafe, bakery, tea, breakfast or nearby-store category land here: tourist attractions, parks and museums with a cafe on site, and unrelated businesses that came in through an import or a Google Maps match. Attraction cafes usually keep the venue's hours and may require admission to reach, so check before making the trip; park kiosks and museum coffee counters are often seasonal. Other listings are kept so that an old address or phone number still resolves and can be re-filed into the right category later.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10 amβ6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (919) 424-7515. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 44 reviews, which is a strong result for an other place in Raleigh and suggests consistent service.
Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Raleigh peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Discovered this store while visiting Raleigh a few years ago, and always stop by the few times I'm in the area. I'd be giving them a lot more money if I could order online and get stuff shipped. I was told by an employee one time they were working on creating a website two years ago, but still waiting sadly.

Lovely store and very nice but TOTAL RIP OFF on pricing. I bought a local product to avoid shipping charges but the total purchase was TWICE the cost of ordering direct and paying shipping. Bah humbug Will never shop here again and would urge you to check the online pricing.

The Store employee was super informative & nice. She gave us tons of background on several items in the store & also about the owner. Itβs a small, but super cute & organized store that sells sauces, coffees, Tea, Honey, jewelry, cooking products, decorations, shirts, & etc., all made by NC natives. They also sell Veteran owned products. My Mother In Law & Husband brought several items. Weβll definitely visit again, next time weβre in the area

This place was absolutely adorable and had a wonderful selection of products. However the employees made me want to NEVER return. My family walked in and were immediately greeted upon walking in by a woman who came and stood right beside us, didnβt say a word, and watched us like a hawk about two feet away from us, staring straight at us. She then followed us around the store as we shopped, and as soon as I picked an item up she ran up to me and told me it had to be kept at the counter. She then came back to continue following us around the store again. After being made to feel uncomfortable we decided to leave. We went to the register and the woman followed us back there, didnβt even smile, and said βAre you done?β as my daughter was trying to pick out a caramel at the register. My daughter got embarrassed and didnβt even get one because she felt uncomfortable as well at that point. She made me show her my ID for a jar of salsa and was just so rude the entire time. I wish I wouldnβt have been followed around and made to feel uncomfortable because there was a lot I liked and would have gotten. Unfortunately because of the attitude we received and being made to feel like a thief, I

Made a stop in today and chatted with Judy, what a lovely gal!! She made our visit a little more fun and we learned a lot about the store. The whole place is not very big, but they do carry many items all created, crafted, and sold with NC love. We'll be back!
